Solid cashew-shell residue
This solid residue is different from liquid CNSL or cardanol distillation residue. After oil extraction, cashew shell biomass can be considered for energy recovery or pellet production following customer evaluation.
Published product reference
- Particle size: 1–3 cm.
- Moisture: 12%; published reference value.
- Ash: 1%; published reference value.
- Calorific value: ≥ 4,500 kcal/kg; gross/net and moisture basis to be agreed.
